What is Ordinary Miracle?
Ordinary Miracle is a web based charitable organization that provides individuals or organizations in need with goods or services from individuals or organizations wanting to make a charitable donation.
vHow It Works:
Individuals or organizations submit an application & proposal for a need from one of the following categories: human needs, animals, arts & education, civic & community, or environment. Once the proper documentation has been verified, validated and approved, the request and the cost of the amount of the request is posted live on the web site for donors to review. Donors may then select the individuals or organizations that they would like to personally contribute to. Administrators of Ordinary Miracle are then responsible for performing the transaction. Only goods or services are provided to the recipient in need. No Cash Is Ever Dispersed To A Recipient.
How Does Ordinary Miracle Differ From Other Charitable Organizations?
Ordinary Miracle is one of the few charitable organizations where donors get to CHOOSE EXACTLY where they want their donation to go, therefore DIRECTLY SUPPORTING the individuals or organizations of their choice. Ordinary Miracle offers a personal connection to charitable giving.
How Do I Know That My Donation Gets to the Proper Recipient?
Each recipients profile will have a graph called the “miracle meter” attached to it showing the amount of the need that has been funded. Donors can choose to provide all or part of the goods or services requested. Upon payment, the donor will receive a computer generated tax deductible receipt.
Each time you make a tax deductible contribution to Ordinary Miracle we credit your account with 'points' that you can allocate to the prequalified applications at Ordinary Miracle that you would like to donate to.
These points are our way of giving our donors 'voting power.' Each point that you give to a request for help brings that applicant one step closer to receiving assistance. Once enough "points" have been received to fund the request for assistance, we then fund the request on behalf of the donors.
Every attempt will be made to honor the "vote" of the donor, however Ordinary Miracle and it's administrators must retain the final authority of dispersment of funds, due to compliance with IRS 501 (c) (3) regulations.
It is the hope of the administrators of Ordinary Miracle that recipients will be kind enough to thank the donors through our testimonials page.
